A Pineyard Group division
Meridian
Pineyard's systematic trading division for emerging digital assets and the liquidity pools they trade in.
Beyond the largest assets, liquidity lives in thousands of automated market-maker pools spread across dozens of chains. A pool's price only moves when someone trades against it, so the same token can sit at different prices in different pools for several blocks at a time.
Those conditions punish discretionary trading and reward systems that can price, route and execute consistently at scale. Meridian was built for exactly that environment.
How Meridian trades
Signal research
Models are trained on pool reserves, swap flow, cross-pool price dispersion and pending transactions. Signals are kept only if they survive out-of-sample testing with realistic gas and slippage.
Routing
Each trade is split across pools to keep price impact low on every curve it touches, and submitted through private channels to limit exposure to front-running.
Risk
Position, concentration and liquidity limits apply per token, per pool and per chain. Exposure to newly launched tokens is capped by how deep their pools are and how quickly it could be unwound.
Infrastructure
Dedicated nodes on every chain we trade, private transaction relays, automated failover and a kill switch that unwinds positions within seconds.

Mandate
- Trade only what can be exited within defined liquidity limits.
- Never hold exposure that a model cannot explain.
- Treat every contract as a risk until it has earned trust.
- Retire strategies early. Edges decay; discipline doesn't.
